Dance Performance Minor (TH)

The dance performance minor is a cross-listed program with Theatre Arts. Students in this program will gain experience in multiple styles to prepare them for performance.
Graduation Requirements
Must achieve a 2. 5 plan GPA and a grade of C or higher in all plan courses.
Program Requirements
Students must complete 12 credits of Ballet, Modern, or Jazz technique.
Students must complete a minimum of 3 credits of Dance Performance.

Dance Performance Minor
The dance performance minor is an interdisciplinary minor administered jointly by the dance and theatre arts faculty designed for students who wish to broaden their academic background and receive a well-rounded dance education, thus preparing them in the area of dance performance in a wide variety of settings. Students will develop competencies in choreography, rhythmic concepts, and dance production.
