Description:
On-ramp to STEM majors to develop strategies and skills for success in STEM majors and careers. Enhance connections with STEM faculty and peers for academic and professional development. By department permission.

Prerequisite: COTS 153.

Learner Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • plan a pathway to a STEM degree that includes valuable experiences for STEM careers or graduate school,
  • engage with STEM faculty and peers beyond the scope of classwork,
  • synthesize and communicate information in a structured format, and
  • apply strategies that build skills for academic success and careers in the STEM disciplines.
