Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Assess the impact that social context has in language teaching and learning.
Examine and evaluate teaching pedagogies for World languages, heritage languages, and indigenous languages.
Design language learning activities that Integrate the principles of Sociolinguistics, Social Justice, and Critical Language Awareness into language learning materials.
Decide and justify teaching models and pedagogies applied to specific language learners’ needs.
Generate a language curriculum for social justice.
