WLC 347 - Study Abroad Description: Study abroad experience in a faculty-led study abroad, or third party provider, or independent study abroad. May be repeated under a different topic. Permission of department.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Perform linguistic proficiency in all four language skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) in the target language at a level appropriate for the study abroad experience, Appropriate level is defined by ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) guidelines.
- Apply global intercultural competence at an appropriate level in the context of the study abroad experience. Appropriate level is defined by ACTFL guidelines.
- Compare cross-cultural products, practices, and perspectives in the linguistic and cultural context of the study abroad experience.
