Description:
Study abroad experience in a faculty-led study abroad, or third party provider, or independent study abroad. May be repeated under a different topic. Permission of department.

Learner Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Perform linguistic proficiency in all four language skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) in the target language at a level appropriate for the study abroad experience, Appropriate level is defined by ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) guidelines.
Apply global intercultural competence at an appropriate level in the context of the study abroad experience. Appropriate level is defined by ACTFL guidelines.
Compare cross-cultural products, practices, and perspectives in the linguistic and cultural context of the study abroad experience.
