YESS 103 - Social Science Career Paths

Description:
Within this final course, students will apply skills learned in previous courses to investigate their social world. Students will apply these skills to carrying out a research project or service learning project. Department permission.

Prerequisites: YESS 101 and YESS 102.

Learner Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Describe the objectives, methodologies, and impact of research in different fields of social science.
Evaluate different social science career options relative to personal interest, knowledge, and skills.
Apply the methodologies and ideas of social science in one of several available paths for significant intellectual discovery and exploration in the social sciences.
