ATM 340 - Fashion Trend Analysis Description: Fashion forecasting principles and applications, including research, analysis, and creation/development of fashion forecasts. Applying technology in the trend forecasting process, and examining trend acceptance or rejection through analysis of socio-economic, demographic, media, and fashion influences.
Prerequisites: Prerequisite: ATM 301.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Apply techniques and skills needed to research, report and analyze fashion trends.
- Examine the economic, cultural and social changes that influence fashion forecasting.
- Relate fashion and its influence on past, present and future lifestyles.
- Predict and compose a seasonal forecast for a specific target market.
- Evaluate the ethical implications of using AI in fashion forecasting, including data privacy, algorithmic bias, and potential inaccuracies, to develop responsible and inclusive forecasting strategies.
- Refine and expand communication, writing, and presentation skills essential to success in the fashion industry.
- Prepare professional quality work using industry technology.
