Faculty supervised research experience. May be repeated up to 12 credits. Grade will either be S or U. Permission of department.

Learner Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

create and propose an independent research project that addresses a current knowledge gap,
design and implement sound procedures to collect data that will answer research question(s),
utilize accepted methods of analyses to determine and analyze whether the data collected answers the research questions, and
evaluate the strengths and limitations of their research contribution to the field.
