AVM 450 - Aviation Management Capstone

Description:
Drawing from coursework accomplished in aviation operations and management, aviation legislation, safety and security, and career planning; students will prepare an academic portfolio that reflects their culminating learning experience in the Aviation Management degree program. By instructor permission.

Prerequisites: AVM 332, AVM 335, and AVM 417. Pre/Co-requisite: AVM 350.

Learner Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

showcase the culminating learning experience in the CWU General Education program and in the aviation management program of study,
participate in class discussions and oral presentations as a processes of developing job application materials for securing the desired position in the aviation management field,
develop reflection summaries that portray on various academic achievements and learning difficulties handled during the aviation management program of study, and
collaborate with instructor for portfolio improvements and produce a finished product well connected with the contents covered in the aviation management program of study.
