EDLT 522 - Literacy Coaching and Data-Oriented Change

Description:
Using data to make instructional change through literacy coaching in K-12 settings. Experiences will be conducted in candidate’s school/district setting.

Prerequisite: EDLT 521.

Learner Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

analyze literacy data to make instructional decisions,
create a school improvement plan based on data-driven instructional decisions,
support school personnel to use data to make instructional decisions,
implement professional development sessions about data-driven instruction decision making, and
report data to relevant stakeholders
