EDLT 522 - Literacy Coaching and Data-Oriented Change Description: Using data to make instructional change through literacy coaching in K-12 settings. Experiences will be conducted in candidate’s school/district setting.
Prerequisites: Prerequisite: EDLT 521.
Credits: (3) Contact Hours: 3
Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- analyze literacy data to make instructional decisions,
- create a school improvement plan based on data-driven instructional decisions,
- support school personnel to use data to make instructional decisions,
- implement professional development sessions about data-driven instruction decision making, and
- report data to relevant stakeholders
