ECON 369 - Real Estate Economics and Finance


Description:
Introduction to the economic and financial principles driving the real estate market. Topics include real estate valuation, location decisions, trends, development, housing market policies, real estate analytics, financial analysis of real estate investments, and financing.

Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: ECON 201.

Learner Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • analyze the economic and financial principles driving the real estate market, including supply and demand, market forces, and government policies,
  • apply economic and financial analysis to assess the value of real estate assets,
  • analyze the factors that influence location decisions for real estate development and investment, and
  • evaluate the financial feasibility of real estate investments.
