EDBL 532 - Second Language Acquisition for Educators
Description: This course introduces teacher candidates to the various theories related to second language acquisition with a particular focus on their relationship to PreK-12 education. EDBL 432 and EDBL 532 are layered courses; a student may not receive credit for both.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:
compare different theoretical approaches to second language acquisition;
critique literature in the field of second language acquisition;
apply second language acquisition theories to make informed instructional and assessment decisions;
synthesize research on a topic in second language acquistion (532 only).
