IT 667 - Cybersecurity Risk Management

Description:
This course focuses on the management of cybersecurity risks to an organization’s information assets. Plans will be developed to preserve the business in the face of major security disruptions.

Learner Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

examine the roles and governance mechanisms used to ensure security of an organization’s information assets,
identify and categorize cybersecurity risks to an organization’s information assets,
develop countermeasures to cybersecurity risks to an organization’s information assets,
conduct business impact analysis of the cybersecurity risks to an organization’s information assets, and
in response to cybersecurity risks, students will be able to prepare a business continuity plan that includes a detailed disaster recovery plan.
