Prepare advisors of Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America chapters, prepare FCS teachers to build leadership in students, and raise awareness of FCCLA resources and activities available for teachers to implement in their classroom. Permission of instructor.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Demonstrate a working background knowledge of FCCLA Evaluate the role of the FCCLA student organization into their classrooms
Organize FCCLA to foster students’ academic growth, application of FCS content, leadership, service learning, and career development
Evaluate and publicize their FCCLA chapter
