ETSC 525 - Systems Analysis and Simulation  (Put on reserve 9/16/24, will go inactive 8/24/27)


Description:
Theoretical and practical techniques for modeling and analyzing various systems including product designs, manufacturing facilities, and fluid/thermal systems. System testing and evaluation methodology will be investigated. Formerly IET 525, students may not receive credit for both.  (Put on reserve 9/16/24, will go inactive 8/24/27)

Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: MET 327 or permission of instructor.

Learner Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: Learn the methods of modeling physical systems. Gain a sound physical understanding of the basic principles of automatic controls. Learn how to simulate the performance of a physical system such as a production work cell or a fluid/thermal system. Gain experience in system testing and evaluation.
