EDU 584 - Seminar III Description: Seminar to process, reflect upon, and enhance in-school experience. Seminar topics include the inquiry cycle, professional portfolio, certification process, and professional employment.
Prerequisites: Prerequisites: accepted in the Teacher Certification MAT Program and successfully completed: EDU 503 and EDU 563 and EDU 573 and EDU 583 and (EDSE 520 for students enrolled in the Special Education Specialization).

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Identify current and historical legal and political contexts that have shaped or are shaping the local, state, and national educational landscape.
- Synthesize across literatures to develop a holistic understanding of the historical and current contexts that have shaped or are shaping the local, state, and national educational landscape.
- Analyze current local, state, and national legal and policy issues impacting educational systems.
- Produce documentation necessary for the job search.
- Reflect on one’s own teaching strengths and areas for growth.
- Design a learning plan to address additional learning goals.
