Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
Compare and contrast students’ personal educational experiences in their home countries with critical pedagogy.
Describe and explain the development of the field of comparative education.
Develop comparative insights about education with the goal of improving schools anywhere.
Explain how education and human resource policies can affect national development from global and comparative perspectives.
Examine cross-national themes such as educational transfer, political and economic development, social stratification and globalization.
Examine comparative methodology on education, social sciences and national development in a global era.
