This course will provide an overview of effective practices, along with their supporting theories, in the education of Linguistically Diverse students. It also includes their implementation and analysis in a school environment.

Identify the second language acquisition and learning theories needed for implementing instruction in the classroom.
Analyze the relationship between theories and classroom practices.
Synthesize sheltered instruction methodology in the creation of lesson plans for linguistically diverse students.
Apply the lesson plans to educate linguistically diverse students.
Evaluate the effectiveness of lesson delivery to linguistically diverse students.
