EDBL 505 - Principles and Practices of Educating Linguistically Diverse Students Description: This course will provide an overview of effective practices, along with their supporting theories, in the education of Linguistically Diverse students. It also includes their implementation and analysis in a school environment.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Identify the second language acquisition and learning theories needed for implementing instruction in the classroom.
- Analyze the relationship between theories and classroom practices.
- Synthesize sheltered instruction methodology in the creation of lesson plans for linguistically diverse students.
- Apply the lesson plans to educate linguistically diverse students.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of lesson delivery to linguistically diverse students.
