BUAN 507 - Data Visualization and Management in Business Description: Analyze and present data with visual representations targeting relevant audiences; introduction to business data management using relational and non-relational databases. Create digital visualizations using various software packages. BUAN 407 and BUAN 507 are layered courses; students may not receive credit for both.
Prerequisites: Prerequisites: BUS 221 or LAJ 400 or MATH 210 or MATH 211 or PSY 362 or SOC 364 or equivalent.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Develop and analyze digital data visualizations using appropriate software Identify data visualization techniques for various data requirements
- Design and implement a real-world business database using a relational database management system
- Develop an understanding of business database systems, design techniques and their common applications in the corporate world.
- Analyze an advanced and unique business problem and perform business data collection, management, and develop visualizations.
