CRBW 300 - Beer Judge Certification Preparation Description: Guided preparation for the entry-level exams for the Beer Judge Certification Program.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Compare and contrast the technical aspects of beer production, ingredients, processes, and possible faults.
- Summarize the historical components of world beer, mead, or cider styles, including characteristics, ingredients, and production techniques.
- Describe the purpose of the Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP) and the criteria for the judging ranks with the ability to assemble quality score sheets and organize the vocabulary of perception from beer samples.
- Appraise and defend the BJCP judging procedures and ethics.
