Planning, preparing, and examining resources related to Since Time Immemorial (STI) Curriculum including the history, culture, tribal sovereignty, and government of Washington’s federally recognized Tribes.

Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: full admission to the Teacher Certification Program.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Identify how the local Tribes meet their economic and cultural needs.
Practice constructivist teaching Strategies.
Synthesize historical knowledge about the treaties between the local Tribes and the United States Government.
