Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Select discourse for public speaking in different social, generic, cultural, and historic contexts.
Evaluate the impact of style and delivery of public speeches on the target audience.
Identify and describe the art and science of effective public speaking-that is, its technical and aesthetic, linguistic as well as sensorial, elements.
