ATM 292 - ATM Service Learning Practicum Description: Faculty supervised applied and/or service learning experience for students pursuing an Apparel, Textiles and Merchandising Major. May be repeated up to 6 credits. Grade will either be S or U. Permission of instructor.
Prerequisites: Prerequisite: students must be admitted to the Apparel, Textiles and Merchandising Major.
Credits: (1-3)
Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Practice and enhance knowledge and skills developed in the major and apply them to practical and/or service learning project(s).
- Work individually under deadline and as a member of a team toward a common goal or finished product.
- Create and execute appropriate professional project and/or service learning project identified in the learning plan submitted by the student in conjunction with the instructor.
