Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Demonstrate knowledge of key concepts, principles, and methods of sociocultural research and Rapid Ethnographic Assessment.
Propose appropriate methods and sampling strategies for data collection.
Prepare interview questions; practice conducting, transcribing and coding interviews.
Plan and practice ethnographic observation and mapping.
Analyze qualitative data thematically.
Evaluate ethical issues in sociocultural research.
