ART 380C - Intermediate Sculpture: Materials and Processes

Description:
A continuation of the studio experience in sculpture, emphasizing experimentation with materials and processes, a higher level of technical competence, and a continued exploration of conceptual development. Class meets 5 hours per week.

Prerequisite: ART 280.

Learner Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Demonstrate proficiency in sculptural processes with experimental materials.
Develop content and context using materials and processes.
Demonstrate knowledge of issues relating to studio, tools, and material safety.
Utilize correct terminology relevant to sculpture.
Prepare and present research on a contemporary sculptor.
