Afternoon and weekend field trips to introduce students to the geology and environment of the Pacific Northwest as well as the breadth of study options in the geological sciences. May be repeated up to 3 credits. Grade will either be S or U.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Experience a topical field trip in order to learn more about the geological and environmental sciences.
Interact with faculty members in the department of geological sciences.
