GEOL 305 - Quantitative Reasoning for Geoscientists Description: An introduction to quantitative methods commonly used for observation, analysis, and interpretation of geologic features and processes.
Prerequisites: Prerequisites: GEOL 101 or SCED 102, and MATH 100C or above.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Recognize and apply a range of mathematical concepts to quantify fundamental Earth properties and processes.
- Solve quantitative problems associated with geological questions.
- Recognize and apply concepts and quantification of uncertainty and errors in geologic data.
