EDEC 306 - Professional Growth and Expectations

This initial course in the Early Childhood Education sequence is a survey of the profession. Students begin a professional growth and development plan, develop philosophical underpinnings, and systematically organizing resources that will be used throughout the program.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Create an individual growth plan that includes professional goals as a teacher-candidate as well as future goals as an educator.
Reflect and report through narrative what professional practice includes and how that professionalism is transferred from the classroom to the community.
