EDEC 313 - Materials and Manipulatives in ECE Description: Strategies are investigated for developing games and learning opportunities through the use of classic ECE manipulatives. The potential for fostering teaching knowledge and skills is emphasized.
Prerequisites: Prerequisite: EDEC 306.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Research, and reflect on the theories of educators who were pioneers in the field of early childhood.
- Develop a resource file/list/electronic folder of developmentally appropriate activities for P-3
- Create and demonstrate materials and manipulatives to promote developmentally appropriate practice in P-3
