ART 450 - Advanced Drawing

Description:
Further development of skills in drawing with emphasis on building a cohesive body of work. Class meets five hours per week. May be repeated up to 16 credits.

Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: ART 350; or instructor permission.

Learner Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Create a cohesive body of work that communicates advanced concepts in drawing
Articulate complex ideas regarding advanced concepts in drawing
Use correct vocabulary to communicate theoretical concepts of drawing
Create artwork using drawing media and techniques that are appropriate for the chosen project
Analyze various contemporary artists whose work is primarily based in drawing media
