AFRO 103 - Heritage and Values 3 Description: “Heritage and Values,” is a survey course designed to introduce students to the United States Air and Space Forces and provides an overview of basic characteristics, missions, and organization of the Air and Space Force.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- describe how the tenets of airpower complement the principles of war;
- remember the Air and Space Force organizational structure, mission, and the roles of their leadership positions;
- apply the three levels of Air and Space Force doctrines and how they may address current national or global issues;
- state the mission of Air and Space Force Major Commands and their role in global defense;
- describe the fundamental nature of warfare and how social, economic, or political issues contribute to their cause; and
- recall the basic concepts of military theory.
