AFRO 101 - Heritage and Values 1


Description:
“Heritage and Values,” is a survey course designed to introduce students to the United States Air and Space Forces and provides an overview of basic characteristics, missions, and organization of the Air and Space Force.

Learner Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • explain the importance of Air Force Core Values and US Space Force Guardian 4Cs in creating a military culture;
  • recall the different Acts that helped form the US Air Force and Space Force;
  • demonstrate proper wear of Air and Space Force uniforms;
  • identify common expectations and restrictions related to military etiquette;
  • reproduce a military briefing using the Seven Steps to Effective Communication; and
  • create an Air Force talking paper utilizing the basic guidelines for writing official Air Force papers.
