ADMG 302 - Financial Analysis for IT Managers Description: Addresses the financial analysis processes and functions specific to IT management. Students will gain an understanding of how to use financial analysis to support decisions related to IT assets.
Prerequisites: Prerequisite: junior standing.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- explain the role and importance of financial management and reporting for the IT manager,
- assess technologies to enhance financial analysis and decision making for IT management,
- analyze budgets and financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis, for the organization and IT departments and functions,
- calculate and interpret various financial ratios, such as profitability, leverage, liquidity, efficiency, total cost of ownership, and return on investment, for the IT department and its projects, and
- evaluate leading and lagging indicators of financial performance for the IT organization.
