PHYS 122 - Introductory Physics for Life Sciences II Description: An integrated lecture/laboratory course covering conservation principles, thermodynamics, wave mechanics and sound with an emphasis on the application of physical concepts to biological systems. Students analyze physical systems using algebra and trigonometry. Class format includes lecture, inquiry-based activities, and experimental investigation. Four class meetings of 80 minutes each.
Prerequisites: Prerequisites: PHYS 121 and eligible for MATH 154 based on Math Placement Testing or a C or higher in MATH 153. Not open to students with credit in PHYS 182.
