PSY 472 - International Counseling and Psychology (Put on Reserve 9/16/16.)


Description:
This course immerses students within a cultural group and examines how psychological and counseling services are provided within that society. The location for the course varies by year. Students will learn about a society’s available services, health care provision, relationship/child-rearing traditions, common prejudices, and economic values. PSY 472 and 572 are layered courses. May be repeated up to 6 credits. (Put on Reserve 9/16/16. Last taught in 2012. Will go inactive 8/24/19.)

Prerequisite: PSY 101.
