EFC 416 - Educational Technology


Description:
Concepts and resources related to appropriate and effective integration of technology and media in school settings. CS 101 or IT 101 recommended prior to enrollment.

Prerequisites:
Prerequisites: grade of C or higher in EFC 340 and full admission to the Teacher Certification Program or the Instructional Foundations Program.

Learner Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Incorporate EALR I for technology and National Education for Technology Standards for Students (NETS- S) standards 1 - 4 into instruction in order to enhance learning.
  • Incorporate EALR 2 for technology and NETS-S standards 5 and 6 to model and teach digital citizenship.
  • Use the National Education for Technology Standards for (NETS-T) to inform instruction and other education decisions.
