ACCT 301 - Financial Accounting Analysis


Description:
Underlying concepts, preparation, and use of financial statements from the user’s viewpoint. Not open to accounting and business administration majors.

Prerequisites:
This course is not open to accounting or business administration majors. Recommended for individuals not majoring in accounting or business.

  • Describe the concept of internal controls.
  • Explain the primary purposes of and differences among the basic financial statements.
  • Calculate and interpret key financial ratios using the data in the balance sheet and income statement.
