Supply Chain Management Minor


The minor program provides the opportunity for the student to gain knowledge and skills in the full spectrum of supply chain activities: supplier relationships, purchasing management, operations, and inventory management, logistics and transportation, quality management, and information technology. Typical job titles include purchasing/supply manager, procurement manager, materials manager, demand planner, and logistics analyst as well as others.

This program is open to current accounting, economics, business administration, and CWU students in other academic programs who have completed the necessary pre-requisite courses.

  • Students must earn a C- (1.7) or higher in ECON 201 and either BUS 221 or MATH 211 to progress to SCM 310. 
  • Students majoring in a College of Business program are recommended to select BUS 221 as their statistics course option.
  • Students must earn a 2.0 cumulative grade point average in all classes applied toward the minor requirements. 
  • Students can apply to the minor via their MyCWU account or by emailing CBAdvising@cwu.edu.
