Physical Education - Dance: Teaching Minor

This minor satisfies the endorsement competencies for dance in Washington State. Students must be fully admitted to the Teacher Certification Program to pursue coursework for a dance education minor.

Students will be required to complete technique classes in those areas of dance frequently taught in a K-12 setting. Additionally, students will develop competencies in dance composition and choreography, rhythmic concepts, dance production, and teaching.
