Program Requirements
Students must earn a minimum grade of C in any course that fulfills a major or minor requirement. In addition, according to CWU’s graduation requirements, students must earn at least ten credits in the minor at CWU.

The only major in the mathematics department eligible to earn a mathematics minor is the mathematics middle-level education major. Students in the data science major (regardless of specialization) may only earn a math minor by satisfying the requirements of both specializations.

Other MATH courses, numbered 200 or higher, may be used to satisfy the elective requirements, subject to approval of the mathematics department. Students should check with a mathematics advisor before taking MATH classes not on the list above.
