Physics Minor

The physics minor is an excellent complement to a variety of other science majors. It is also ideal for students who want to reinforce a liberal arts major with a technical background.

Special Requirements:
Students taking this minor to obtain a teaching endorsement can receive a teaching endorsement in physics only if the following requirements are met: - The student is working on an endorsement in biology, chemistry, or earth science.
- The student passes the WEST-E exam for physics.
- The student successfully completes SCED 324 and PHYS 492. SCED 324 requires admission to the Teacher Education Program.
- The student demonstrates proficiency of student learning outcomes through a program portfolio prior to student teaching.
