Department InformationOverviewSome people ask, “What can you do with a degree in physics?” Most businesses want people who can analyze complex situations and solve problems. CWU physics majors learn these skills along with computational and electronics skills. Along the way, you’ll do research with a physics faculty member and may participate in our award winning physics club. We offer a B.S., a B.S. engine-ering specialization and a B.A. (which doubles as our teaching degree). Department Standards All students must meet with a physics major advisor to map out a four-year plan. All of the faculty members listed above are physics major advisors. Upper level physics courses are offered only every other year. Thus, students who wait too long to meet with an advisor may have their graduation delayed. All physics majors must complete a physics major portfolio. Programs Return to: Departments
