CS 466 - Virtual Reality Description: Introduction to virtual reality application development and human-computer interaction research. Covers topics including 3D programming, virtual reality application domains, 3D interaction designs, experimental study designs, and development of human-computer interaction research papers.
Prerequisites: Prerequisite: C or higher in CS 302.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- interpret the concepts of augmented reality, mixed reality, virtual reality, and extended reality;
- apply the practices of virtual reality and virtual reality programming;
- analyze the issues of virtual reality technology and their applications;
- explore the interdisciplinary nature of human-computer interaction research and measurements in human-computer interactions for virtual reality systems;
- explain research hypotheses and significance tests in virtual reality related human-computer interaction research;
- design basic experimental study structures and experimental procedures; and
- develop virtual reality related human-computer interaction research papers.
