Description:
Apply common financial tools and analyses to research, recommend and execute market trades for an investment portfolio housed within the CWU foundation. May be repeated for 6 credits.

Prerequisites: FIN 370 or by department permission.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Apply a defined investment philosophy in the management of an investment portfolio
Complete a fundamental investment analysis for a public company stock
Present research findings and recommendation to the class and panel of investment advisors
Describe the research task necessary to effectively analyze stocks, and other financial products to consider for investment
