EDSE 423 - Instructional Practices/Strategies in Literacy and Math for Students with High Incident Disabilities Description: Specially designed instructional strategies and programming considerations for students with high incidence special needs in reading, written expression and mathematics. A field experience practicing instructional strategies.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student/teacher candidate will be able to:
- Summarize key essential components of literacy and mathematical instruction for students with reading, writing, and math disabilities.
- Evaluate evidence-based practices for increasing positive impact on student learning in reading, math and writing to facilitate inclusion in the least restrictive environment.
- Identify evidence-based strategies, accommodations, modifications, assistive technologies, and assessments to support students with disabilities in literacy and mathematics.
