ASL 540 - Global and Social Perspectives of Educator Leadership Description: Students explore social and global perspectives in ASL education and leadership worldwide with the focus on diversity, intersectionality, cultural identities, multicultural implications, and how technology affect today’s learners.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Support self-knowledge and a sense of purpose as an educator within and outside the American Sign Language field
- Apply global and social perspectives while developing curricula
- Assess potential challenges of teaching philosophies
- Develop instructional practice and American Sign Language curriculum design to produce effective learning environments for a diverse body of students.
