GPD 593 - Practica II Description: Culminating field experience to demonstrate competency of teaching in a Family and Consumer Sciences secondary classroom. Includes 20 hours of seminar designated by the university supervisor and edTPA overview. Grade will either be S or U. Permission of instructor.
Prerequisites: Prerequisites: GPD 552 and GPD 553 and GPD 554 and GPD 558 and GPD 559 and GPD 592 and Full Admission to Teacher Certification and Registered for West E.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Construct, prepare, and assess a curriculum that is coherent and aligned with state standards.
- Select appropriate instructional choices from a broad spectrum of techniques to maximize the learning of all students.
- Plan and prepare instruction based on learner characteristics and the context of the school and community.
- Support professional and ethical responsibilities, relevant law and policy requirements, and educational foundations.
- Experiment in and judge productively on multiple and diverse instructional field experiences.
