- Evaluate the roles and functions of administration.
- Articulate the unique characteristics of educational organizations and the implications for educational leadership.
- Analyze administrative practices from historical and theoretical perspectives and the implications for educational leadership.
- Analyze various theories of human motivation and the implications for educational leadership.
- Compare traditional and contemporary theories of leadership.
- Evaluate various styles of leadership applied to educational settings.
- Analyze the relationship between ethics and leadership.
- Examine selected leadership processes: communication, decision making.
- Examine selected current issues and their implications for educational leadership: diversity, school choice, academic integrity.
