  • Articulate the unique characteristics of educational organizations and the implications for educational leadership.
  • Analyze administrative practices from historical and theoretical perspectives and the implications for educational leadership.
  • Analyze various theories of human motivation and the implications for educational leadership.
  • Compare traditional and contemporary theories of leadership.
  • Evaluate various styles of leadership applied to educational settings.
  • Analyze the relationship between ethics and leadership.
  • Examine selected leadership processes: communication, decision making.
  • Examine selected current issues and their implications for educational leadership: diversity, school choice, academic integrity.
