HRM 551 - Human Resources in Multinational Enterprises Description: This course examines current human resource management (HRM) systems worldwide and the influence of globalization on HRM practice.
Prerequisites: Prerequisite: admission to the Graduate Professional Human Resource Management Certificate, or by department permission.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Examine the role of cultural context in organizations and apply it to the structure and implementation of Human Resource Management practices.
- Analyze the Human Resource Management challenges facing multinational corporations, including staffing, training & development, performance management, and compensation.
- Analyze global HRM problems and present solutions to exhibit sensitivity to cultural issues in organizations.
- Compare, contrast, and apply the various frameworks for managing and embracing diversity.
