CS 589 - Research Seminar

Description:
A one-hour professional seminar encompassing a recent CS topic is provided by the student to the department and campus community using LaTeX (Beamer) generated slides. The student also submits a technical report in LaTeX. Grade will either be S or U.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Identify one actual computational science problem.
Prepare a public presentation, using LaTeX (Beamer) generated slides, on an advanced computational science topic.
Submit a technical report in LaTeX.
