CDFS 582 - Curriculum Development Description: Use program standards to determine and develop program scope and content. CTE 582 and CDFS 582 are cross-listed courses, students may not receive credit for both. Formerly FCL/FCSG 582. May be repeated for credit.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Identify professional roles and responsibilities for curriculum development
- Identify the critical contextual factors impacting curriculum
- Assess the social, emotional and intellectual impact of curriculum
- Identify the process for integrating conceptual frameworks with curriculum development
- Develop curriculum to meet the needs of diverse populations
- Identify the purpose and role of advisory committees in curriculum development
- Identify the purpose and role leadership development in the curriculum.
- Identify strategies for evaluating curriculum
